GALittle Big Shots is a family-friendly variety TV show that features incredibly talented children from around the world. The kids—usually between ages 3 and 13—showcase unique skills such as singing, dancing, comedy, martial arts, spelling, sports tricks, and even genius-level talents. The Elvis, later called the ‘68 Comeback Special, pulled in roughly 42% of the U.S. TV audience that night. Career on the line. Hollywood years behind him. No Vegas residency yet. Just raw stage lights and something to prove. He spits out “If you’re looking for trouble…” like a man reclaiming his own name. By the time he hits “Guitar Man,” he’s leaning forward, breath short, eyes locked in. It’s not polished. It’s alive. Within a year he’s back on top, “Suspicious Minds” goes No.1 in 1969. But this is the moment it turned. Out of breath. Out of patience. Back in control.

CLNobody came to Pam's art show.
Not really. A couple of people drifted in out of obligation.
One person looked at her work and said that's why it's motel art.
And Pam stood there in that empty room holding herself together trying to pretend it didn't hurt.
This was something she cared about.
Something outside the office, outside the reception desk, outside everything people expected from her. And the people who knew her best couldn't even show up for one night.
Then Michael Scott walked in.
The same Michael Scott who makes every situation worse.
Who says the wrong thing every single time. Who nobody takes seriously about anything. He walked in and looked at her paintings and something just stopped in him.
He wasn't performing. He wasn't trying to be funny. He was just genuinely, completely moved.
He wanted to buy the painting of the Dunder Mifflin building. Told her it belonged in the office. And then he looked at her and said he was proud of her.
And Pam - who had been holding it together all night - just fell apart.
Jenna Fischer spent seven years trying to make it as an actress before The Office.
At the end of those seven years she packed her car to go home to Missouri.
Done.
Her acting coach talked her into one more season.
That's when she got the role.
The writer of this episode said that experience of defeat is exactly what she was expressing in that moment.
The tears weren't just Pam's. They were Jenna's too.
Steve Carell said watching that scene he could see five different emotions on her face in a single take.
Heartbreak. Gratitude. Relief. Everything.
And when the show ended Jenna asked to keep that painting.
They said no.
The prop master gave it to her secretly anyway. It's hanging in her entryway right now.
Sometimes the person who sees you isn't who you planned on.
Sometimes the one who shows up and means it is the last person you expected.
That moment doesn't become less real because of where it came from.
Someone believing in you - really believing - that changes something.
Don't let pride or surprise talk you out of receiving it.
