Did the interviewer successfully shift or at least loosen the author’s belief?
— Mind you, these were ideas this author has published in his book, “Reparations: The Tyranny of Imaginary Guilt” so given that, I think it’s a fair assumption to say, this belief was likely deeply held, so to see him move his language at all is very interesting.
