Neural tension is maxed here. 👉 >90° → Likely hamstring tightness, not your nerves. Add some extras for 🔥 clinical clues: ⚡ Bragard’s Sign → Dorsiflex the ankle, nerve pain reproduced? Neural involvement ✅ ⚡ Neri’s Sign → Flex the neck, symptoms worsen? Even stronger neural signal ✅ 💡 One test. Multiple layers. Stop guessing, start interpreting. Sometimes we use the arm to treat the neck. 🧠⚡ If a cervical nerve root is tethered or entrapped against muscles, sometimes we need long-lever tension via the shoulder and arm. Entrapment of these sensitive tissues is a common problem. Nerves don’t like to be stretched; they need to slide and glide through soft tissue tunnels. When the muscles entrap a nerve, that normal sliding motion is lost. This can lead to annoying symptoms: aching, burning, tingling, or tightness radiating down the arm. To address a slide problem, you need a slide treatment. In this video, we are using the patient’s arm as a mechanical lever. By moving the arm and wrist in a specific sequence, we can create a specific tension which is translated all the way up to the neck. This “flossing” motion does two things: Mechanical Release: It gently pulls the nerve through the entrapment site at the muscle, encouraging the release of adhesions and restoring glide & slide. Restores Circulation: It acts as a pump, helping to out inflammatory waste and bringing fresh, oxygenated blood to the nerve tissue. We have a small network of colleagues scattered around the world.
