HORMONE BALANCING SALAD JAR ft. @usenourish 🫶✨🤍 Some simple, realistic tips my dietitian shared that I found super helpful about supporting hormones: • Stabilize blood sugar (bye irritability): aim for protein + fat + fibre at every meal • Omega-3s (help reduce inflammation): salmon, chia seeds, walnuts, olive oil • Magnesium (for cramps, mood + sleep): pumpkin seeds, dark chocolate, avocado, almonds • Fibre (supports estrogen balance): fruits, veggies, flax, chia, lentils Dressing (makes 3): • 1/4 cup EVOO • juice of 1 lemon • 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning • 1 tbsp dijon • 1 tbsp maple syrup • salt + pepper Salad: • sweet potato • cucumber • blueberries • feta • quinoa • turkey sausage • pumpkin seeds #nourishpartner #nutrition #healthymeals #easyrecipes

I was… until my dietitian actually encouraged me to eat more of them so I can fuel my workouts and keep my muscles strong and sculpted 💪 Learning how to properly fuel your body can be a game changer. Working with a dietitian helped me understand that carbs support my workouts, recovery, and muscle …they’re not something to fear! How to make this bowl: • Quinoa: tri-color quinoa cooked according to the package instructions (about 15 minutes covered until fluffy) • Veggies: chopped zucchini + bell peppers tossed in avocado oil, salt, and pepper, then roasted at 400°F for 20 minutes • Chicken: seasoned with onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cooked on medium heat for about 4 minutes each side, then finished in the oven at 400°F for 3 minutes • Dressing: use whatever you like!
