MAدنیای BSD بر خلاف لینوکس زیاد تغییرات عمده ای نداره
برنامه نصبی OpenBSD هنوز همونه
برنامه نصبی NetBSD هم عوض نشده.
اما در FreeBSD از sysinstall شد BSDinstall
چندتا دلیل برای این کار بود که به نظر من اول ساده تر شد،
دوم نصب و پارتیشن بندی ،zfs بهش اضافه شد
سوم در دنیای jail به خوبی جواب میده.
چه خاطراتی با sysinstall اون اوایل داشتم، بعد از نصب خیلی ازش استفاده می کردم چون کامل freebsd رو بلد نبودم و خود آموزش یاد گرفته بود!؟
ولی هنوز هم این برنامه رو دوس دارم.

_CIn this HackTheBox scenario, the first check for player on soccer shows no sudo privileges, but searching for SetUID binaries reveals /usr/local/bin/doas.
Unlike sudo, doas is usually found on OpenBSD but also works on Debian-based systems. No configuration file was found initially, but a search unearths /usr/local/etc/doas.conf, which grants player the ability to run /usr/bin/dstat as root without a password.
Using this, a malicious Python plugin is created and placed in /usr/local/share/dstat, a writable directory. When dstat is run with the plugin, it executes a Bash shell as root, enabling player to gain root access and retrieve the root.txt flag.

DY#frei0r is the most extensive collection of FOSS video plugins made to share video effect inventions & knowledge on how to develop them. A preservation project, keeping our collection alive & interoperable so everyone can run it into any application.

Between 2003-2005 a group of people gathered at piksel.no in Bergen & tried to agree on a standard plugin specification to share code among video projects.
The #Gephex team pushed forward a simple “header-only” approach which they dubbed #Freiør, as a homage to our Scandinavian hosts. Gephex being German & “free” in their language is spelt “Frei”: add a Viking touch to it and there we go. Frei, or?
Through the years, valuable contributions to frei0r have kept coming, and frei0r has kept growing its plugin collection up to almost 150 plugins, thanks to many contributors. Today, frei0r can be found in many places. A search on youtube yields some funny results. The wave of the social-video boom (tiktok etc.) may be multiplying its presence across some funky software applications that will hopefully keep being #FOSS
Perhaps the first and best video made with #frei0r was the one made with LiVES by Salsaman? Recently Internet artist Marko Deinterlace also put some sound on it. That is what you see in this reel.
frei0r is already pretty much everywhere since Stefano Sabatini built support to use our plugins from #FFMPEG which is the most used media library in the world.
There is a long list of frei0r packages maintained in various distributions:

• #FreeBSD
• #OpenBSD
• #NetBSD
• #GNU/#Linux
• #MacOS #Brew formula
But #videoFX are beyond entertainment: their application is helpful in many different fields. frei0r has been used in a hospital: it helped create custom visualizations for medical analysis in ways that no other proprietary software could ever do.
This was only possible because the software is #FOSS but also because algorithms are in simple and readable #Clanguage used to describe video transformations.

There are other UNIX-like operating systems besides Linux, such as the *BSD systems. The most popular *BSD systems are FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD and DragonFly BSD. All are open source just like Linux. However, it's important to remember that they are BSD and not Linux.

LPدر OpenBSD نصب برنامهها بسیار ساده و در عین حال ایمن انجام میشود، چون سیستم مدیریت بسته آن طراحی شده تا با کمترین پیچیدگی و بیشترین امنیت عمل کند.
روشهای نصب برنامه در OpenBSD:
1. نصب از پیشساختهها (Precompiled Binaries) با pkg_add:
این سادهترین و رایجترین روش نصب برنامههاست. OpenBSD مخازن رسمی دارد که برای هر نسخه از سیستمعامل، بستههای کامپایلشده فراهم میکند.
مثال:
doas pkg_add htop
این دستور بستهی htop را از مخزن رسمی دریافت و نصب میکند.
اگر چند نسخه از برنامه موجود باشد، خودش نسخهی مناسب را انتخاب میکند.
2. جستجوی برنامهها با pkg_info -Q:
قبل از نصب، میتوانی بررسی کنی آیا برنامه در مخازن وجود دارد یا نه:
pkg_info -Q nginx
3. نصب از سورس با Ports Collection:
اگر نیاز به سفارشیسازی یا نسخه خاصی از برنامه داری، میتونی از درخت ports استفاده کنی که مجموعهای از Makefileها برای ساخت بستهها از سورس است.
مثال:
cd /usr/ports/sysutils/htop
doas make install
> توجه: درخت ports باید از اینترنت دانلود شود. معمولاً با دستور sysupgrade یا ابزار ftp قابل تهیه است.

نکات مهم:
در OpenBSD نباید مستقیم از sudo استفاده کرد؛ بهجای آن از doas استفاده میشود (جایگزین مینیمالیستی sudo).
بعد از نصب، میتونی لیست برنامههای نصبشده را با pkg_info ببینی.
حذف برنامه هم سادهست:
doas pkg_delete htop
