KAFirst time using a paint sprayer in our bedroom — honest review 👇
We used it for a white mist coat on fresh plaster and here’s what we actually think:
Build time:
Super simple. All tools included. Took about 10 minutes to assemble.
Learning curve:
Not totally plug-and-play.
A few times we turned it on and paint dribbled from the nozzle instead of spraying properly. We had to adjust the settings and restart. Small tweaks made a big difference.
Top tip we’d repeat:
Practice first.
We used the wall behind a wardrobe to get the hang of spray distance and speed before doing the main walls.
Finish:
This is where it shines.
The coverage is incredibly even and opaque — especially for a diluted mist coat. It genuinely looks professionally sprayed.
Paint used:
Leyland trade super leytex, diluted roughly 40% for two mist coats.
Overall verdict?
There’s a small learning curve — but the finish makes it worth it.
Game changer or waste of money?
We’re leaning game changer.
Would you try a paint sprayer for your renovation?
