With Mr. Olympia fast approaching and all those athletes currently in their own individual peak weeks, wanted to drop this highlight from the @_teamarnold podcast.
Where we describe the three different types of peaks to run through
- Front loading
- Linear Progression
- Back loading
All three are different and all three provide different results for an athlete based on how their body responds to food. Which is why it’s best to come ready 2-3 weeks out from your show and ideally run a trial peak week with one of these three options
Then collect that data and either replicate it if it was perfect or modify it accordingly before your show
