The 12km digs deeper-more trail, more challenge, and still plenty of fun.

You kick off from the event centre, warming up — TRAIL PREVIEW – 12KM COURSE The 12km digs deeper—more trail, more challenge, and still plenty of fun. You kick off from the event centre, warming up on some grass, then a short road section leads you over the pedestrian bridge. The first highlight: Curl Curl Track—tight, steep, and technical alongside the creek. After crossing the fire trail, the terrain flattens out a bit. This is in our opinion some of the best trail running in Sydney - lush, almost rainforest-like single track. After the feed station around the 5km mark, you’ll ascend a bit to get the views across the dam before dropping back down to cross the dam wall. From around 7km mark, it’s a steady climb for about 3km back toward the second feed station at Allambie. Finally, a bit of fire trail back across the bridge and onto Possum Track – a winding, slightly downhill single-track section that is grin inducing and pops you back out at the finish line. It’s a proper trail run with plenty of variety. More info in link in bio @paceathletic #trailrunning

Not many cities in Australia have mountains like these sitting right on the doorstep. Just minutes from the city, yet it feels like a completely different world. Quiet trails, fresh air, birds calling through the trees… the perfect place to slow down, recharge and reconnect. Running out here is never really about the pace. It’s about the conversations on the climbs, the laughter on the descents, and those moments where you stop and realise just how beautiful this place is. There’s still so much to explore. So grateful to share mornings like this with the crew at our March Club KT Trail Social. Huge thanks to @DrHydrate for bringing the hydration van out and keeping everyone hydrated afterwards 💧 Always a crowd favourite after a big morning on the trails.
