From wedging to wheel to kiln, Emme documents every step of her creative process in the pottery studio, building pieces that are just as fun to use as they are to put on display. Pouring wax, placing lids, cleaning an unexpected little “snowfall” of plaster, pruning the strawberry tree in the garden, loading the kiln, unloading the kiln… and loading it again. Very soon these pomegranates will be in your homes, and you’ll know exactly what my studio has been smelling like lately. —————————- Tanda de granadas blancas. Tanda de granadas verdes. Este fin de semana tocó hacer velas entre mil cosas más. Verter cera, colocar tapas, limpiar una pequeña “nevada” de escayola inesperada, podar el madroño del jardín, llenar el horno, vaciar el horno… y volverlo a llenar.
