CL🍣 JAMES BEARD SEMIFINALIST HONORS: Robin Anthony, executive chef and owner at Omakase by Prime Fish (@omakasebyprimefish), credits his James Beard Award semifinalist status all to his team, saying: “I’ve been blessed by them.”
Anthony, a semifinalist for Best Chef: Southeast who is the only Charlotte chef up for a James Beard Award this year, added his mission is to “bring Charlotte sushi up to a national level.”
The Michelin-recommended restaurant offers an intimate omakase experience with traditional Edomae-style nigiri and other dishes with French and Southern influences. The ever-changing seasonal menu features fish flown in daily from Tokyo’s Toyosu Fish Market.
