This book is designed to get people started with chair yoga, learn how to navigate different movement themes through a diverse vocabulary of movements, how to set up chair classes as an instructor, and a lot of what I have learned a long the way. I wanted a recourse that we could leave in the communities we work in. The class plans also pair with the free videos we are hosting over at @heartspaceuk . After nearly 20 years of writing, I’m relaunching my website. A space I first built when this journey began, and one that now finally holds everything it has grown into. What started with recipes—my first true love—slowly expanded into something much larger. Writing that led me into hospitality, into stories, into people and places I could never have imagined back then. And through it all, the instinct has remained the same: to learn, and to pass it on. Looking back at years across print, digital, brand collaborations, and consultancy… I realised how much of this journey was scattered. This website is my way of bringing it all together—an archival, anecdotal space for the work that has shaped me. There’s a lot here. And still, somehow, not enough space for all the stories I want to tell. Because at the end of the day, I still write for the love of writing—and you’ll find that in many corners of this space. The original foundation was laid by the wonderful team at @heptaagency nearly two decades ago. This new chapter wouldn’t exist without @dreamsdesignindia, who truly understood what I was trying to build and carried me through this process with care. This platform will keep evolving. There’s a lot of work still in progress (and a surprising amount that still needs to be archived), but there’s also a new layer of writing that will live exclusively here—more personal, more reflective. From the people and places in hospitality I deeply respect, to recipes I continue to experiment with, even books I’ve contributed, to brands, ideas, and global perspectives I find myself drawn to—this is where it will all come together.
