Being seated among such distinguished leaders and royal figures was a moment not easily forgotten. I was honoured to be invited to and to participate in the gathering, and to represent the Commonwealth Businesswomen’s Network, while continuing my work through The Power Diaspora Forum to support greater economic influence and leadership for women. As a diaspora myself, I recognise that diaspora communities like mine are truly global — living, building and contributing significantly across borders — bringing leaders together like this is a reminder of that.
