We headed to the southwest suburbs to check out Centennial Park and it’s fantastic. These are the ones my kids always ask to go back to 👇🏻 📍 Casey’s Clubhouse Playground - Upper St. Clair One of the most unique playgrounds in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. This playground was designed so kids of all abilities can play together. It has adaptive swings, sensory play features, climbing structures, and wide accessible spaces. 📍 Main Park Playground - Mt. Lebanon A South Hills classic right by the rec center and pool. A popular park with both a younger and older kids playground on 2 levels! It’s a great spot if you want to turn a quick playground trip into a longer afternoon outside. 📍 Lincoln Elementary School Playground - Mt. Lebanon A gem and perfect for a quick play stop. It’s right near the Beverly Shops area, so it’s easy to swing by for playground time and then grab coffee or a snack nearby. 📍 Simmons Park - Bethel Park A really fun park with a zip line, great climbing structures and newer playground equipment. There’s also plenty of space around the playground for kids to run and explore. 📍 Bumble Bee Playground - South Park A true Pittsburgh classic inside South Park. The entire playground is designed in black and yellow, which makes it feel extra Pittsburgh. 📍 Rolling Hills Park - Peters Township A beautiful park with newer equipment, open space, and scenic views. It’s a great place to bring bikes or pack a picnic and let kids burn some energy. 📍 Morton Fields Complex Playground - Upper St. Clair One of the newer playgrounds in the South Hills, and it shows. The equipment is modern, there are multiple play structures, and tons of space for kids to run around. It’s part of a large sports complex, so there’s also plenty of open field space if older siblings want to kick a ball around.
