DE“True Definition Of Ramadan”
Ramadan Reflection 🌙
The Qur’an says in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:183):
“O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed upon you as it was prescribed upon those before you, that you may become righteous.”
Pause for a moment.
Ramadan is not just about hunger and thirst.
It is a month to purify the heart.
A training for the soul.
A reminder that we are not living only for this world — but for what comes after it.
Fasting teaches us: • Patience
• Gratitude
• Self-discipline
• Compassion for those in need
We spend so much of our lives chasing comfort, success, attention, and recognition.
Then Ramadan arrives and gently asks:
If everything were taken away…
what would remain between you and your Lord?
This world is temporary.
The nights of Ramadan are temporary.
But the deeds you send forward are not.
Ramadan is a gift —
a chance to reconnect with the Qur’an,
to lighten the burdens on your heart,
to seek forgiveness,
to forgive others,
and to realign your priorities.
So ask yourself…
Will this Ramadan be just another routine?
Or will it be the one that truly changes you?
Will it simply pass…
or will you rise with it?
