SU🛠️ WHY YOU MUST SAND BETWEEN EPOXY LAYERS 🛠️
We built this resin table in two pours:
🔹 Base layer with liquid pigment
🔹 Top layer with mica powder for depth ✨
Here’s the rule for multiple pours:
1️⃣ Pour your next layer while the first is still tacky, so they fuse together.
2️⃣ OR—if the first layer is fully cured—lightly sand before the next pour.
Why sanding? Once resin cures, it’s too smooth. Sanding creates micro-scratches so the next layer bonds strong. 💪
Skip this step and your layers can separate.
Do it right, and your project will stay flawless for years. 🌟
