AMHave you noticed when you use a router going clockwise that it skips and goes really fast?
That’s because a router spins clockwise and by going in the same direction as the bit you’re not getting a controlled cut. Going counterclockwise on an outside edge is called a push cut and will pull the bit into the wood for better control 👍 For inside cuts you will want to go clockwise. But the best way to learn is by doing! You’ll be able to feel the skipping and know you should switch directions
