Once a person converts from Hinduism to Islam or Christianity, they are no longer eligible for SC reservation benefits.
This is not about targeting any religion, but about the legal framework of reservation, which was designed to address caste-based discrimination within certain social structures. If someone continues to claim SC quota after conversion, it becomes a legal violation and can lead to cancellation of benefits.
At the same time, conversion itself is not illegal in India. The real issue is misuse of reservation, not personal faith. This topic is still under debate, and many voices are demanding changes in policy.
