GOWhy I chose SSCBS over IIM Rohtak.
Yes, I had a seat at IIM Rohtak. But I walked away from it.
This was a personal decision, what worked for me might not work for others.
Here’s why I made the call:
▪️ I didn’t want the trimester grind. I wanted the flexibility DU offered.
▪️ I was focused on commerce & finance and was not ready for a multidisciplinary IPM structure (studying psychology etc)
▪️ I needed more free time, for YouTube, for internships, for figuring things out.
▪️ I didn’t want to rush into an MBA, especially not right after IPM.
▪️ Placement support after 3 years at IIM Rohtak didn’t seem solid.
▪️ SSCBS had the alumni, the exposure, and the structure I was looking for.
In hindsight, it was one of the best decisions I made.
IPM is great too, I have some great friends there as well, doing so good for themselves. It just personally didn’t feel right for me.
