LOTrying The World’s Most Luxurious Business Class
For years I kept hearing the same thing from frequent flyers and aviation reviewers about Starlux Airlines. People said the experience was consistently exceptional and that the airline had set a new benchmark for premium travel. After hearing that for so long, I finally had to try it myself.
Honestly, it did not disappoint in any element.
After the incredible airport Galactic lounge experience, which I reviewed in another reel, I made my way to the aircraft at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. The first thing you notice is the crew. Extremely friendly, constantly smiling, and they personally usher you to your seat.
Then you step into the cabin of the Airbus A350, and it is stunning. One of the most beautiful business class cabins I have seen. The lighting and design feels futuristic like a spaceship but still warm and cozy, which creates a very calm atmosphere for the flight.
The seat itself is excellent. Massive legroom, a very comfortable design, and intuitive seat controls including a “zero gravity” relaxation position that reclines your body in a pressure reducing posture designed to reduce fatigue.
The entertainment screen is also huge, around 24 inches in 4K, which is among the largest in business class cabins today.
Flying on the A350 also adds another layer to the experience. The aircraft is known for its extremely quiet cabin, smoother ride due to advanced aerodynamics and composite materials, and a lower cabin altitude of about 6,000 feet with higher humidity levels compared with older aircraft. All of this helps passengers feel less tired on longer flights.
The return ticket for this itinerary cost about $3,895.
But there is one thing I heard about the lavatory on this flight that I have to show you. And it is seriously cool. That will be in Part 2.
