REThree important pieces of federal legislation that I have introduced to help support public safety, and in particular gun safety and gun violence.
1️⃣ One is Ethan's law, which which would require and maintain safe storage of firearms across the country.
2️⃣ Two is the Invest to Protect Act, which would help support and fund local police departments like those right here in Las Cruces.
3️⃣ And three is the background checks Act, which closes the private transfer loophole so that we can make sure that those guns don't end up in the wrong place.
