JISave Me (구해줘) is a 2017 South Korean thriller and psychological drama that explores the chilling influence of a religious cult. Based on the popular webcomic Out of the World by Jo Geum-san, it aired for 16 episodes on the OCN network.
Core Premise
The story begins when Im Sang-mi and her family move to the small, eerie town of Muji after a series of business failures. Following a family tragedy, her parents become deeply ensnared in a pseudo-religious cult led by a charismatic but manipulative leader. Desperate and trapped, Sang-mi eventually whispers "save me" to a group of former classmates, who risk their lives to rescue her.
