NIthe truth:
I almost didn’t post this because while I’m confident with our decision to stay screen-free for Cosmo’s first 5 years, I’ve received judgement several times for it when I’ve mentioned it out loud as part of conversations with other parents.
Which is CRAZY.
And strange because I’ve never ever judged any parent for their screentime decisions - we’re all just doing the best we can with what we have.
But this is social media (and unfortunately, sometimes real life) where no matter what it is, if you go against the majority, people will be quick to judge.
And it took me a while to get here… but someone’s decision to make a judgement has everything to do with them and nothing to do with me. And I’m okay with that 😌
You know what’s best for family and circumstances. Not me. Not influencers. And I hope no one ever makes you feel otherwise ❤️
