People really got the opportunity to learn more about the creative process and the opera’s historical context. • As someone who grew up with financial constraints, I appreciate that they offer a ‘Pay What You Wish’ performance. It’s another real effort towards accessibility. • Also, inviting @lovingroombooks to the opera house so attendees could buy books related to the opera’s themes and deepen their understanding and connection to the story and its context was a nice touch. • Seattle Opera didn’t just put on a powerful show; they demonstrated community building while making opera more inclusive and engaging. I’m looking forward to being back.
