RAIf this video (audio by @flowersfrompain ) found its way to you then you might also need to hear this:
You’re a good person. Like, a really great human. Even if it felt like nobody saw or appreciated you, you kept showing up. You did your best this year, with what you had. You made it through all of your hardest days. You lived a thousand precious, ordinary moments, and you made a difference in ways you didn’t even realize. You make the world a better place.
Never forget that only in the darkest moments do seeds begin to grow into what will someday be a beautiful garden. 🩷
I invite you to take 5 slow, deep breaths, unclench your jaw, relax your shoulders, set down your phone, make a cup of tea, journal about what hurts or delights, talk about what’s hard with someone you trust. Take a walk outside if you can, listen to music that uplifts you, take a nap on the couch, read a book, do less and feel more.
And if you’re having a wonderful, easy time right now, I’m so happy for you! But for those of us who tend to struggle a little bit extra this time of year, I hope this video feels like a warm hug and a reminder that maybe things are going to be ok, even if they weren’t what you’d hoped, even if you’re struggling.
These feelings won’t last forever, and a New Year is just around the corner! The days are only getting brighter from here.
If any of this resonates with you and you hope to start 2026 with more self compassion, clarity, and connection to who you really are, I invite you to check out the books I write and self publish every year - only on:
R A C H E L P O H L A R T . C O M 🌙❄️
Even if it doesn’t feel like it - you’re going to be ok :)
Ok, love you, bye!
