At the time, I was working as a district employee, doing work that mattered, but I knew deep down that I wanted more freedom, creativity, and depth in how I served others. Making the leap felt scary, but my soul knew it was time. Now, I get to hold space for people healing from trauma, learning to regulate their nervous systems, and slowly reconnecting with who they truly are underneath the pain. As a mum of three boys, I never took time to prioritise myself and always put my needs on the back burner. I didn’t have any real hobbies or motivation to do anything apart from what needed to be done. Since I started training consistently, I have had the biggest shifts within myself which has allowed me to see things in different ways. I had always gone to the Gym here and there but never was I consistent. Since finding the right training for me, it has been as easy as breathing. I also rediscovered that I love reading which I used to do all the time when I was a kid. Sometimes we have to do uncomfortable things in order to find what we truly need in our life.
