Suspended mid air, the duo reimagined the iconic lettering with their signature monikers, crafting a bold homage to Tinseltown that blends criminal art with high altitude theatrics. Traveling coast to coast to leave their infamous “monikers” on city skylines, the pair brought their fearless creativity to Los Angeles. Onlookers marveled at the breathtaking display, which redefined the glamour of Hollywood with a criminal edge. Now that I have eaten here I feel like gentle monster would let me into their store 😬 ive not been cool enough until now… Seto is a very fun restaurant that everyone’s favorite Hamada san (@takefumi.hamada ) also visited recently, probably meaning it should be on your radar if you are a Food Person. Its a long course where elements are repeated to show flow and evolution. I think this is done best with the cream elements, distinguishing whey from butter and rich cream and ending in a frozen state that explores texture, layering and temperature of a single element across many dishes. Im not sure chef seto has been to Brutalisten but I think he’d enjoy it (@brutalisten ) The experience really is immersive, with a crazy soundscape and interior design that i love. The artworks are for sale, part of an initiative of the restaurant to be both gallery and eatery. There are still some kinks to work out, but i was very happy with the experience. Especially because the use of teas and tree flavor in nearly every dish speaks to my own quirky preferences. I would love to see even more investment in the sweets department, maybe chopping off one savory course in favor of a pastry. Theres so much i can see happening with cakes or merengue in this flavor-scape (is that a word?) Not blown up yet, but i wont be surprised if it does. Pricing and staff are friendly, english available, cool innovative cuisine with admirable technique. perfect to take your weird girlfriend after buying a pair of glasses at the robot face store! #seto #東京グルメ #tokyorestaurant #finedining #omakase
