After listening to our customers requests we have decided to respond to their needs. Many people rely on the ADAT format and almost every serious sound card includes an ADAT connection. Therefore, incorporating an ADAT output is simply a logical progression for our designs. Now, with the OST-8 adat we´ve introduced an 8 slot 500 series enclosure with its own built-in premium converter to make capturing, processing and digitalizing signals at the highest quality possible a reality and easy as can be.

Setting up Sonarworks is so tedious 😅 but so so worth it. Been using it for the last 4 or so years and it’s been an absolute game changer for my mixes.
New little addition to the studio, bought an Adam Audio Sub MK2 to annoy the new neighbours 👀 but on a serious note I can actually hear and feel the low frequencies now 🔊

HEWhile a 500 Series enclosure may not seem like the most exciting thing in the studio, you’ve got to have them. It only makes sense to get one that is durable, not overpriced, compatible with any 500 Series module you may have, and most importantly, one that will bring out the cleanest and very best performance in your gear.
With the OST-6 V2.0, you have a perfect solution for housing 500 Series modules in an enclosure which brings out the best of their sonic potential, in a portable, rugged enclosure that won’t break the bank.
Many experienced engineers are aware of certain ‘power hungry’ Class A or vacuum tube based modules which could cause banks of 500 Series modules to ‘brown out’ or not function, or that simply would not work in some standard enclosures.

GAWhy do you choose your audio interface? The number of inputs and outputs for sure, the quality of the sound is a given, and then we have usability.
Problem is, once you get over £1000 there are so many excellent options. In my quest for a great sounding studio, I've jumped ship from Universal Audio to @rme_audio.
One of the main reasons is I wanted to be able to try Room EQ or Sonarworks hosted directly on the interface, to get that last 10% improvement in my room. I'm in the middle of this experiment and I'm making a YouTube video all about it.
