GOThe older model was already great. Which makes it important to ask, is newer better?
The new irons offer softer feel and improved sound over the older series. Early results found the performance difference to be similar. This was a fine tuning, not a full makeover
The biggest thing is the feel. 7-14% softer & the new material reduces “clicky” sounds and provides a forged irons feel.
If you play the “older” irons, the upgrade is likely marginal. It all depends how old we are talking.

GOIn the downswing, the head does not move toward the target. It naturally remains behind the ball. That does not mean the shoulders or upper body stay back. In fact, both the lower body and upper body shift forward while the head stays behind.
This happens as a natural counterbalance. If the entire body moved forward together, balance would be lost. The head remains back to stabilize the motion.
This dynamic also allows for a clean and full extension of the arms after impact.
