CO“Excessive” and “questionable” spending on travel doubled at Chicago Public Schools post-pandemic, according to an Inspector General report. A near 2 year investigation details lavish out-of-state conference stays and unapproved trips abroad largely due to COVID relief dollars and an unchecked travel oversight process. REReflecting on this week, I’m grateful to have connected with industry workers in D.C. and our district #OH-03. I celebrated Andre Terry’s retirement with Rep. Waters and our CBC colleagues, after 31 years of service on Capitol Hill. I also shared how my leadership and support of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction, and CHIPS Acts benefit IBEW at their state conference. I look forward to pursuing policies that protect workers and their ability to thrive in our economy.
