LIAs my studio has grown, my standards have changed.
Here are a few things I no longer do — and why.
1. I don’t start with preliminary designs or templates.
Every project begins with strategy. Without clarity on positioning and audience, even beautiful design falls flat.
2. I don’t compete on price.
Clients who choose a brand partner based on cost usually don’t value the long-term impact of the work.
3. I don’t take every project that comes my way.
The best work happens when there’s alignment — in vision, investment, and expectations.
4. I don’t treat branding like decoration.
A brand is a business asset. It shapes perception, pricing power, and growth.
5. I don’t build identities based on my client’s personal preferences.
Good branding should support expansion, evolve with your business growth, and most importantly - resonate with your audience.
6. I don’t rush the brainstorming phase.
The strategy stage is where the most important decisions are made.
7. I don’t design for trends.
Trends fade quickly. Strong brands are built on clarity and longevity.
8. I don’t try to appeal to everyone.
Clear brands attract the right clients and repel the wrong ones.
9. I don’t treat websites as an afterthought.
Your website is often your most important conversion tool.
10. I don’t see branding as a one-time project.
It’s a foundation for growth, marketing, and long-term positioning.
The right brand system doesn’t just make your business look elevated — it makes growth feel lighter.
That’s the work I care about now.
