This is a pretty accurate depiction of the conversation had between Mr 6 on Tuesday to negotiate getting his sunscreen on 🤣
Meanwhile Little Miss has to have the sunscreen confiscated because she would put it on 30 times a day if she could 🤣🤪
Which team are your kids? Mr 6’s avoid at any cost or Little Miss’s wants to bathe in it?
In all seriousness though my sunscreen tips:
- provide options
- model the behavior
- let them put it on you
- try and identify the barrier to it (Mr 6 once rubbed zinc based sunscreen in his eyes)
- make it fun
- combine it with other SunSmart measures, even I don’t leave the house without my @bedhead_hats visor on and the kids love a good fishing shirt!
My two have sensitive skin so we have tried a lot of different sunscreens (that are not zinc clearly!) but we love the @solmatesau refillable roll on containers because I can buy a big container and split it between them instead of buying lots of small and them all expiring. We are also currently giving the @sundaebody whipped sunscreen a go to add some more fun!
