AII built a hidden underground Inuit survival bunker in the snow next to an igloo. ❄️
It started with nothing but a marked circle in the snow.
Then the digging began — shovel after shovel, deeper and deeper into the frozen ground.
Logs were stacked to create the underground roof structure.
OSB panels were installed and a hidden wooden trapdoor entrance was built.
The entire roof was then covered with snow to camouflage the bunker in the winter landscape.
Inside the bunker:
Gravel was poured and leveled.
Waterproof lining was installed.
A wooden floor and wall panels were built.
A wood stove with chimney was installed for heat.
A survival bed, table and storage shelf were added.
Firewood, gear and food supplies were organized.
Dried meat was hung from the ceiling just like traditional Arctic survival shelters.
From a snow-covered empty field beside an igloo
to a fully functional hidden winter survival bunker.
