SOTourette syndrome has always been something I’ve tried to hide or keep to myself. As a child I let it push friends away and I really secluded myself because of it. As an adult Ive learned to cope with it and not let it hold me back or be afraid of close relationships. it’s still pretty crazy to me how little knowledge there is about TS. I’ve always looked for advocates and people who might understand my pain and struggles, but it’s pretty few and far between. Not very many people talk about it, so I figured it’s my time to share my journey with TS+ and be open about who I am and how much it effects my life every single day. I’ll be posting ticks I struggle with and I’m happy to answer any questions anyone might have. TS is normal and okay to have and I know I am confident and worthy of love regardless of my diagnoses. I know I am so extremely fortunate to have a minor version of TS, but it is not easy and it has been with me my whole life. Sending love to anyone who struggles with Tourettes, let’s connect 🖤🖤
Thank you @adamhampton33 and the Outsiders for giving me a platform to talk about Tourette’s and for being such a badass group of people ✨
