ZARepresenting His Excellency President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Dr. Kudakwashe Tagwirei took center stage at the Taguta fuel service station grand opening, carrying forward a clear vision , that no place and no community must be left behind.
In a bold and impactful gesture, Dr. Tagwirei announced a US$1 million investment set to transform the local community. The funds will go towards the renovation of shops, garages, conference facilities and the development of recreational spaces, particularly supporting indigenous churches with infrastructure that strengthens both social and economic life.
To further boost local economic activity, a fuel tanker was donated to improve fuel accessibility and create sustainable business opportunities in the area , a practical step towards empowering communities on the ground.
Education remains a top priority. With over 68 schools in Marange, Dr. Tagwirei pledged support for vulnerable children struggling to pay school fees, ensuring that access to education is protected and that no child is left behind. This is a direct investment in Zimbabwe’s future , building hope, capacity and opportunity.
In honoring tradition and leadership, Mambo Marange, Mambo Chibuku, Mambo Chipunza and Mambo Makoni each received US$2,500 and six cattle, reinforcing the importance of cultural heritage and the role of traditional leaders in driving development at grassroots level.
This moment reflects more than generosity , it reflects a results-driven leadership approach, where vision is matched with action. Through strong representation and strategic partnerships, President Mnangagwa’s development agenda continues to reach every corner of the nation.
