TEDay 2 of the TechGirls Advocacy Drive and we visited, Ogudu Senior Grammar School, Ogudu Junior Grammar School, and Elepe Community Senior Grammar School, Ikorodu, where we continued sparking curiosity and opening young minds to the possibilities within the world of technology.
Through engaging conversations about STEM and why girls belong in it, as well as introductions to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence, the students showed great enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
At Tech4Dev, we are committed to driving systems change by building digital capacity and creating opportunities for more women and girls to participate in the digital economy. Initiatives like the TechGirls Advocacy Drive are part of that mission, helping young girls see that technology is not too complex and that it is a space where they can learn, grow, and thrive.
As we celebrate International Women’s Month under the theme “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls,” moments like these remind us why increasing visibility and access for girls in STEM is so important. By reaching young girls early, Tech4Dev continues to inspire the next generation of women who will shape the future of technology.
