MAlet’s be honest.. i’ve lived unbalanced before and it is not sustainable or healthy. life is meant to be lived , not restricted!!
80/20 has been my foundation and once I started focusing on protein and NOT feeling ashamed when I ate something “bad” is where I started to see the difference.
my routine:
• morning: supplements, protein bar, COFFEE, protein pancakes or eggs after workout
• midday: protein packed lunch (if possible). i was on the move here so i had overnight oats with almond better to tide me over for dinner. not perfect but it works.
• evening: hearty dinner!!! true food order (lots of protein): healthy chicken tender, chinese chicken salad w/ extra chicken, dressing on side, cauliflower appetizer bc i love it… oh and sweat potato chips bc i was craving
•dessert: oatmeal bites (from whole foods) and a @skinnydipped treat
your gut is second to your brain when it comes to importance in your body!!! fuel it with what it needs to keep you at your best. balance is a journey, not a destination. focus on the journey. ups and downs are apart of it .. that’s why they call it balance!! ⚖️
