Giving yourself grace isn’t a sign of weakness…Grace builds consistency. I use to live in an all or nothing mindset. And every time I couldn’t do this health journey perfect- I quit. So it was a cycle of starting over every Monday. As a busy wife, mom and business owner- perfection doesn’t exist. There are so many days life doesn’t go according to plan. So I learned to give myself grace. And within that grace I learned to not give up- but to keep showing up. Day after day- giving grace when needed, refusing to quit and focusing on what I could do each day versus what I couldn’t. And through that grace- I actually reached my goal. You can’t do this journey perfect. So take the pressure off, walk in grace, and keep showing up! The busiest months of the year are coming up. Perfection will not be an option. But grace and consistency can be. Today I woke up feeling so overwhelmed—in the best way—by the many messages I received. Some of you shared encouraging words, others told me you got up and did a workout, made healthier choices, or spent time in the Word. Hearing how God is moving in your lives and how what He’s doing in mine is encouraging to you… honestly, that’s hard for me to fully comprehend. But it reminds me that God is so much bigger than my own small journey. He’s weaving all of our stories together in ways we may not even see yet. The choices we make don’t just impact ourselves—God can use them to encourage and strengthen others too. You all blessed me so much today. Happy Monday! You can’t fight in your own strength. Take it up in prayer and talk to the Lord about the issue. He can handle what you can’t. This is the first thing that started breaking my NOT good eating patterns… Talking to God about it and bringing it into a place where I wasn’t fighting in my own strength. Keep trying & praying. ✅Your health is worth it. Take little steps of action when God shows you what you need to do. It might be as simple as walk for 5 minutes, or drink one extra glass of water. 🩷And one day, you will look back and see you’ve beat the battle you never thought you could.
