NOBombardier beetles are tiny insects with an explosive defense: they fire a near‑boiling chemical spray (almost 212°F) from their abdomen in rapid bursts whenever they’re threatened. If a frog tries to swallow one, the beetle can literally blast its way out of its predator’s mouth. In documented cases, frogs have puked them up within seconds, and the beetle often just walks away unharmed.
Kind of like biting into food straight off the stove — ouch, instant regret! 🔥😆
