Be sure to share this PSA to remind them that big holes at the beach can be dangerous. • #repost from the lifesavers (both in and out of the water) behind @uslifesaving • Lifeguards are raising awareness about the dangers of digging large holes in the sand. Sand collapses can occur without warning and trapped victims can (and have) suffocated before emergency crews can dig them out. Tragedies from sand entrapments occur annually so skip the deep holes and stick to sandcastles.
