His real finger movements get captured by the Quest's cameras and sent over WiFi (through a Raspberry Pi Zero setup), and the robot hand mirrors them in real time. The latency is surprisingly low and super playable. It's that 'my hand becomes the robot' feeling—pure future vibes from a random weekend hack. Next up may be finer control or maybe full-body teleop?
