If you are in perimenopause or menopause and struggling with unexplained weight gain, this one is for you. This data was just presented at WHAM, the Women’s Health and Menopause conference at Harvard Medical School, and it is changing how we think about weight management in midlife women. Fiber is not a wellness trend. It is a clinical tool. And most of us are getting half of what we need. Here is what the science actually shows. Fiber slows gastric emptying, stimulates satiety hormones, and ferments into short-chain fatty acids that improve insulin sensitivity. The POUNDS Lost trial found fiber was the single strongest predictor of weight loss and dietary adherence, outperforming fat intake, protein, and energy density. The Nurses’ Health Study followed 74,000 women for 12 years and found the highest fiber intake correlated with a 49 percent lower risk of major weight gain. And a 16-week RCT in 144 postmenopausal women found visceral fat was significantly reduced only in women most adherent to a high-fiber diet. This is why my morning shake is non-negotiable. Greens, flax, fiber-rich whole foods, and a scoop of The Pause Life Fiber every single day. It is not about digestion. It is about managing insulin resistance, visceral fat, and the hunger hormones that estrogen used to keep in check. The unexplained weight gain is not your fault. It is biology. And fiber is one of the levers we can actually pull. Sources: Miketinas DC et al. J Nutr. 2019;149(10):1742-1748. Liu S et al. Am J Clin Nutr. 2003;78(5):920-927. Bajerska J et al. The hosts of The View asked me about hormone replacement therapy, and I had a lot to say. Twenty-three years of new data and women are still being undertreated for menopause. What happened in 2002 was a turning point in the wrong direction. A study with flawed methodology made headlines, those headlines scared the world, and an entire generation of women were denied something that could have genuinely helped them. Doctors pulled back. Patients panicked. And the ripple effects are still being felt in exam rooms today. Here is what we know now, according to The Menopause Society: for women who are under 60, within 10 years of menopause, and at low risk for heart disease, the benefits of hormone replacement therapy outweigh the risks. That is not opinion. That is the current science. I take HRT myself. And I will keep talking about it. What I will also say is this: it is not DIY, and it is not one size fits all. Women need to have this conversation with their doctors. And their doctors need to be current on what we have actually learned since 2002. That part matters just as much as the conversation with the patient. If your doctor is still practicing like it is 2002, that is information worth having.

5 Weeks to go before Black Friday! 🙌🏼 Here are 3 things you should be doing right now to help you promote your Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals! *You’ll want to save this post* 👏 1) Determine your offer by looking at inventory, historical data of what performed well last year, discounts vs. bundles, best-sellers, etc. 2) Create landing pages and optimize webpages to ensure there are no barriers to a smooth check out experience. Do they need a promo code, is it a site wide offer, do they need to add to cart before they can view the discount, etc. 3) Iron our any technical kinks like a slow loading website, is your site ready for extra traffic, can deals be layered, etc! Hammer out these details now so you can start working on ads, social and email marketing campaigns to support. 👊🏼 #marketingtips #digitalmarketing#smallbusinessowner #businessowner #femaleentrepreneur #femaleownedbusiness #femalefounded #smallbusiness #businessmarketingtips #yegbusiness #womenin

Single women are now outpacing single men in homeownership. 📊 Data shows one potential reason: they're often buying for more than just themselves. Single women are more likely to have kids under 18 and more likely to buy multi-generational properties than single men. When the whole household is your motivation, homeownership becomes a necessity not just a goal. Thoughts on this?👇 Source: NAR

New @LinkedIn data shows that progress in hiring women into top leadership roles is reversing. If we want more women in leadership, one meaningful change workplaces can make is to stop burnout culture. Women pay the highest price for workplace cultures that treat sleep deprivation and burnout as proxies for commitment and dedication. This becomes a backdoor way of excluding women or at least making it harder for them to advance. So it’s not just about hiring, as important as that is — it’s also about changing the day-to-day culture (which will benefit everyone). #IWD2026 #WorkplaceLeadership

GLP1s and breast cancer…… To date, we only have observational data for what GLP1s MAY be able to do in women with obesity and breast cancer receiving endocrine therapy. This comes from a poster presented at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium in December that observed 15000 women with breast cancer, who were receiving endocrine therapy (like tamoxifen), who were being treated for obesity with a GLP1. They found that: 💫 Women < 50 yrs had a 60% lower risk of death 💫 Women > 50 yrs had a 40% lower risk of death A hugely interesting signal but it sadly doesn’t mean we KNOW that GLP1s improve survival, because this data was just observational and in a very specific set of women with breast cancer. We need to wait for the RCTs currently ongoing to tell us that: watch this space…. It will be really interesting to see if there are benefits beyond weight loss for breast cancer as have been shown for cardiovascular disease ❤️🙌🏾 Ref: PD8-06 Real-world Analysis on the Impact of GLP-1 Receptor Agonists on All-cause Mortality and Endocrine Therapy-Tolerability in Obese Breast Cancer Patients 🎧Listen or watch the full episode: link in stories and bio Are you currently using a GLP1 for anything other than weight loss? There’s a lot of opinions in the short-term rental space, but the data here is clear. According to Airbnb metrics, women on average: - Earn higher revenue - Represent a larger share of Superhosts - Excel in guest experience and communication Oh, heck YES, lady! That’s YOU! This conversation on the @host_coach Podcast was a fun reminder that strong operations, attention to detail, and relationship-building actually drive results.

There were nights of debugging when everyone else logged off. There were rooms where she had to prove she belonged. There were datasets that didn’t represent her - so she fixed them. There were moments it was easier to quit - but she stayed. Success in tech isn’t luck. It’s skill built quietly. Confidence built repeatedly. Resilience built the hard way. #WomenInData #WomenInTech #DataScience #CareerGrowth #WomensDay
