🌍 Follow @factswithmaps for more maps that change how you see the world👆 If a baby is born right this second, there is basically a coin-flip chance that they are Asian. This map breaks down the probability of being born on each continent based on current birth rates. It’s a fascinating look at where the future population is coming from. While we often focus on total population, the birth data tells a different story about momentum. Asia remains the heavyweight, accounting for nearly half of all new births (49.69%). But the real surge is in Africa, which now claims almost 35% of the global total. Combined, these two continents represent 84.5% of all human births. In contrast, the numbers for Europe (4.8%) and North America (3.04%) are surprisingly low when compared to their historical dominance in population charts. It really puts the demographic shift toward the "Global South" into perspective. Which continent are you from? ⚠️Disclaimer: I do my best to share helpful and accurate information, but I’m not perfect. ⭐⭐📊 🏥🤱📈⭐⭐ 🗣🇺🇸: Today's reel shows how the fertility rate has changed over the years. The fertility rate indicates how many children a woman gives birth to*. According to Eurostat, a fertility rate of 2.1 children per woman is necessary for the population to remain constant (if there is no migration) (https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=Fertility_statistics ). The World Bank defines the fertility rate as follows: “Total fertility rate represents the number of children that would be born to a woman if she were to live to the end of her childbearing years and bear children in accordance with age-specific fertility rates of the specified year.” Mobile phones were never designed as a convenience, they are mass mind-control and surveillance devices developed by the military-industrial complex, and apps - particularly social media - are brain rotting cancers of humanity that are leading us directly to the demise of human civilization. (And yes, I realize the irony of using social media to communicate that message to you.)

The statement who will rule the world is made, followed by the claim that the answer is shocking. This assertion is based on the idea that the society in which wealthy, well-educated women choose to have children will ultimately rule the world. The total fertility rate is mentioned, with a rate of 2.33 given for the United States. The video explores the relationship between per capita GDP and the fertility rate, with the presenter noting that the United States has a total fertility rate of 2.33, which is below the replacement rate. The presenter also highlights the contrast between countries like Angola, which has a high fertility rate but low per capita GDP, and the United States, which has a high per capita GDP but low fertility rate. The presenter suggests that the United States can mitigate its low fertility rate by importing immigrants, but this may not be a viable solution for other countries. The video also displays a graph showing the fertility rates of different countries, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, with corresponding per capita GDP figures. The presenter's argument raises important questions about the future of the world and which societies will ultimately thrive. The idea that the society in which wealthy, well-educated women choose to have children will rule the world is a provocative one, and it challenges viewers to think critically about the relationship between economic development and demographic trends. What do viewers think about the presenter's argument, and how do they think it will play out in the future - will the societies with high fertility rates ultimately surpass those with low fertility rates, for will other factors come into play? #Demographics #economics #reels Follow @stelle.world for tech, science and everything in between.
