The @guerrerasxamazonia are fighting alongside @udapt_oficial and the Eliminen los Mecheros, Enciendan la Vida collective against the devastation caused by gas flares in the Ecuadorian Amazon. This group of young Ecuadorian women are on the front lines of the struggle for climate justice. In 2021, a court ruled that the gas flares violate human and environmental rights and must be eliminated. Yet they continue to burn. Instead of being celebrated for their bravery, the young defenders face stigma and violent intimidation. The Ecuadorian authorities told the group that they will only provide them with protection if they stop their activism. Aver dato la colpa di tutto questo al presidente João Lourenço nei suoi video. Neth è anche sieropositiva, ma per otto mesi in carcere le sono state negate le cure giornaliere di cui ha bisogno. La libertà di espressione è un diritto. Neth deve essere scarcerata e le accuse contro di lei devono cadere.
