PIAdding a bit of 'pixie dust' to this magic circle plank sequence! The circle mounted in the hand adds to more instability while being on the toes allows for a balance challenge! Of course fundamentals movement include a plank without a hunch back or sinking stomach with shoulders down and back and legs hip width apart (yes, it's needed for stability!) Pressing down on the ring helps to anchor the body. Pulling opposite knee to elbow engages our cross body abdominal muscles and obliques while a lift of the leg allows for a deeper hamstring and calf strength (remember to flex your toes!). Using the ring in a push up helps the body to ground itself from being in the plank and can help us get lower in our push up!
