SEAbout Time isn’t really about time travel the way you’d expect, it’s more about learning how to live properly; directed by Richard Curtis, the film follows Tim, played by Domhnall Gleeson, who can go back in time but slowly realizes that fixing every moment doesn’t actually make life better, and his relationship with his father, played by Bill Nighy, ends up being the real heart of the story, even more than the romance with Rachel McAdams; the famous wedding scene was shot in real rain which makes it feel raw and real, and there’s even a small appearance by Margot Robbie before she got famous, but what really stays with you is the idea that you don’t need to go back and fix your life, you just need to pay attention to it while it’s happening.
