PASome of the most aggressive kids I’ve worked with can’t sleep alone at night.
Not because they’re defiant or feel safe with mom,
but because they’re terrified of being with their own thoughts (or memories)
Big behaviors don’t always mean a strong nervous system.
Sometimes they mean a scared one.
This child is safe. And the clip is cute, warm and funny.
He’ll be just fine with some calm, loving boundaries from mom.
Not every kid who pushes is secure.
And not every kid who clings is fragile.
That’s the part we often miss.
