In these past couple of years I’ve said forever “goodbyes” to a few friends of mine.
What several of them had in common was they were heavy drinkers, zero exercise, and poor eating habits. Generally, very bad lifestyle choices.
These same people would make negative comments about my own health journey.
They often asked me “ what do I do for fun”?
My reply was always “ it’s fun feeling good all the time.”Knowing that I won’t be sitting on the sidelines watching life go by because I’m able to fully participate and be present in it.
Now, They’re not able to see their children grow up or watch their grandchildren grow.
Is it worth your short moment of “fun”!?
People ask if I ever have “cheat days”. The answer is no.
Once in a great while I may eat a slice of cake at a birthday party or special event but it’s not very often because I don’t feel the need to eat “junk” food. When I do it’s very calculated.
Feeling good feels SO DAMN good-period.
I honor their death as a learning opportunity.
I want to go out kicking and fighting, knowing I gave it my best shot.
I don’t want to succumb to temptation.
A large majority of us have never really felt what optimal health feels or looks like. We’re surrounded by very negative messaging regarding aging.
It’s time to change that mindset.
It’s time to spread the word about healthy vibrant aging- it happens today.
Eat Meat, Make Muscles, and lets change the aging narrative.
