DRYesterday was a day I will never forget—the official chartering of the Alpha Delta Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, serving Homestead, Pennsylvania. 💕💚
To stand as a Charter Member in this moment is beyond words. It is humbling, historic, and deeply personal. The journey was not always easy, but every step was worth it to see our vision come alive. Under the leadership of Gwendolyn L. Kirtley, Great Lakes Regional Director, Vanessa A. Coakley, Chartering Chairman, our Charter President, Kianna Wilson, and alongside my incredible fellow Chartering Chairs, Monica D. Lamar and Veronica Thompson, this chapter was built on love, sisterhood, and service. 🌸
I am especially grateful for my husband’s unwavering support, and for my two girlfriends—Na’Asiaha and Shayla—who remind me daily what true friendship and sisterhood mean. 💐
