JEWhen I scoop, my wrists release the angle coming into impact – it’s a compensation I’ve done for so long that it’s become a habit.
So to work on it, I’m exaggerating the opposite: feeling like I’m maintaining that angle into impact rather than letting it go too soon.
The signs I’m looking for that I’m heading in the right direction…
👉 Hearing that “clip” sound instead of catching the ground early.
👉 Keeping my height through the shot rather than standing up to save it.
I’m using short shots with my 58º wedge to really hone in on the feel in a controlled way before taking it to longer clubs 🤓
