And these animals include: ➖ Rats ➖ Guinea Pigs ➖ Rabbits ➖ Hamsters ➖Mice 🤔So what do these brands actually do, to be featured in this list? + Tests products or ingredients on animals personally + Works with suppliers or manufacturers who do so + Sell products in countries where animal testing can be required by law (China mainly, even though this law is slowly becoming flexible) 💭So what can WE as customers do?💭 1️⃣ BOYCOTT these brands and tag them and let them know why?! 2️⃣ Question the Makeuo Influencers who still use these products. 3️⃣ Choose Makeup Artists who only use cruelty-free makeup. 4️⃣ SHARE this with your friend who may be using these products. Are there enough Makeup Brands that are CRUELTY-FREE? Of course there are! My Next video will showcase the many brands you can CHOOSE instead! Before drugs can reach the market, they must first undergo a rigorous process to make sure that they work and aren’t harmful to humans. One stage in this process is animal testing. The EU generally still requires animal testing for drugs, but it also has strict laws to minimize animal use and promote alternatives when scientifically valid. Animal testing for cosmetics is completely banned in the EU but not for medicines. In the US in 2023, a new law was introduced eliminating the requirement for drugs in development to be tested on animals.  To avoid animal suffering, scientists are increasingly looking at more humane, non-animal alternative research methods. Startups like Alveolix believe that with the help of quantum computing they can eliminate some forms of animal testing by creating replicas of human organs that can be used for testing.   🎞 Find out more in “New quantum computers - Potential and pitfalls”.
